Mary Caponegro is the Richard B. Fisher Family Professor in Literature and Writing at Bard College, and has been on the faculty since 2002. She is the author of the short story collections The Star Café, Five Doubts, The Complexities of Intimacy, and All Fall Down, as well as selected works in translation. Professor Caponegro is a contributor to The Review of Contemporary Fiction, Tin House, Black Warrior Review, Salt Hill, Epoch, Conjunctions, Fairy Tale Review, Sulfur, Gargoyle, and Iowa Review, and a contributing editor for Conjunctions.
